Join us for monthly Shabbat with the Bay Area Kohenet Jewish community and friends. We will gather, pray, connect, and celebrate Shabbat together through the transformative power of ritual and sacred space.

Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute, co-founded by Rav Kohanot Taya Mâ Shere and Rabbi Jill Hammer, is a community and movement creating and remembering earth-based, embodied, feminist forms of Judaism. Kohenet honors the diversity of ways that divinity appears to us in the world, through the elements, our ancestors, sacred texts, and our own intuition.

No previous experience with Jewish practice necessary. Services are open to all who are called and are held by rotating Kohenet leadership. This week’s Shabbat will be led by Kohenet Cedar Ranney and Kohenet Amanda Nube.
